What would you like to see become reality in the new decade?
I’ve been lucky to welcome the decade from the beautiful country of Jordan.
Here is a short clip I took during one of my lectures here at the University of Jordan…
I am here in preparation for something I am exited about seeing coming into being in the new decade —the upcoming course on Utilizing Emerging Technologies for Inter-cultural Collaboration and Leadership: Bridging the “West” and the “Middle East”.
As a part of the larger AXIS LIVE movement, this course represents a different way to think of and experience university education and university courses than is common – a course in which there are no clear answers to begin with, in which some of the most intelligent students from around the world join to become friends in discovering solutions together…
What a great way to start the new decade!

In any area of life, what would you like to see become a reality in the new decade?
I’d like to see more quality Andy Griffeth show reruns dude! Can never get enough of Don Knotts.
I would like to see that the war on terror is not terrorizing people anymore, that it is saving souls rather than taking them…
I want to see “2010: The Year We Made Contact” come true. “Avatar” is already introducing our culture to fictional alien species. “V” was remade. I bet that is preparation for the real thing. That would require a course on inter-species communication 🙂
World peace is what we long for!!!
You have got some awesome thoughts! Hope they will realize someday. Have a great New Year 2010 to come.
Love you and all the extraordinary things you do, Clint! Best wishes to you for a spectacular New Year. From my heart…
Happy New Year, Clint!
Shahram says it is awesome…:P
we wish all the best in your plans!
just have sometimes rest as well!=)
and come soon in Joensuu!…
Yes Dr. Rogers. In 2010, our goals we will win! Let’s make this decade our season. It’s time to reap the harvest!
That was one inspiring lecture Dr. Rogers! Looking forward for the course itself. God bless:)
I was there 🙂
It was a great lecture. I’m very excited for this course!
Lots of things. But I think if you can come up with a connection to make this one dream of mine come true, I just might love you forever. You walk down an ice-cream aisle and find everything but 2 ingenious creations…they have already been spiritually created by me in my mind…and not one ice-cream inventor has done a single thing about it. 1) Chocolate base with cherries (It’s always the reverse. Highly mediocre.) 2) Chocolate with raspberries. Seriously. Come on people. We’re 1/10th of the way through the 21st century and we’re not on this yet? Oh, and world peace, too. Let’s do it =o)
First of all, I’d like to thank you Dr. Roger for your unmatched enthusiasm on this issue(i.e use of modern technology to solve world’s problems). Personally I’d like to see the use of digital communication not only in tolerating our differences, but actually celebrating our differences. Also, in 2010,I would like to see the digital revolution spreading more so to less developing countries.
