Are there any women in your life that inspire you?
This is created in honor of You…

As I mentioned on FaceBook, it surprised me how much came out of me while creating this video! Thinking about my own mother, and all the mothers who might struggle at times, wondering if they’ve done OK…

I’m so grateful to my sister, Marie, for creating this new website (http://www.TheEverydayMother.com) and consequently inviting me to think more deeply about how to more freely love & be loved.

(Special thanks to my dear friend Gary Malkin, who let me use sections of his precious audio tracks for this cause. More of his incredible work is here: www.WisdomOfTheWorld.com.)

(And extra special thanks to my own Mother, of course, who not only gave me life, but also continues by example to show me how to live it well. I love you Mom, now and always!)Clint Rogers & Mama Sarah Obama

For Mama Sarah’s Foundation for Orphans
http://www.MamaSarah.com
(this is the new web site we are helping her create)

Free, New Community for Mothers
http://www.TheEverydayMother.com
(this is the cool new site my sister has been working on)

Please feel free to share this with any woman who inspires you.

Happy Mother’s Day!

This is great advice. Very inspiring and I totally agree. We as men need to appreciate our mothers more for the pain they went through for us.

Mmmm, this video spread love in the air. Dear Clint, let me tell you a short story we in Iran tell to our children about mother’s love and devotion.

There was a guy who fell in love with a devilish girl. The girl urged him to kill his mother if he wants her to accept his love. The guy who was hypnotized by her love decided to do that. One day he pushed his mother on the ground and sat on her chest while holding a knife in his hand, and told the story of the girl’s demand to her. He said” I am sorry mother I have to kill you because I cannot even imagine a life without this girl”. Her mother said ”I accept it on one condition”. He asked what condition?” On the condition that, when you use this knife to kill me, you must be careful not to injure your hands, her mother said!

Some new researchs show, those who get enough love from their parents become very compassionate people when they are grown up.

Thanks. That means a lot everyone! In making it, I just had this deep feeling that it wasn’t about me or Mama Sarah or Desmond Tutu - but about a message that would resonate with the right people at the right time. All of your messages are extremely appreciated!

Thank you, Clint, for this touching video on Mother’s Day. As much as the message of it is encouragement for women around the world, it was “smart” to address men as well.

  33. on 10 May 2010 at 8:41 pm Sarah

Thank you for such a touching Mother’s Day gift to all of us women. It was both thrilling and humbling to be reminded that behind my “prickly mask” I can have the courage to face any struggle with courage that comes from a source that is “…the Source of all that is beautiful, that is good, that is true.”

This is exacty what my soul needed to hear today. It was beautiful. Thank you.

    Sarah (Selene’s cousin)

I loved your video, Clint. Very touching and encouraging for mothers and women in general - even those who aren’t mothers, but care for others as if they were.

    Thanks,
